Identifying & Understanding Feelings

Helping children develop an emotional vocabulary to talk about their own feelings, as well as understand the feelings of others around them, is vital to being able to regulate and manage emotions.  Parents can begin as early as birth to model and teach their children about emotions.  This can be done in fun and creative ways through games and books.
